Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Peterson, a former cop, who is currently behind bars awaiting trial for the murder of his third wife, a resident told yesterday how he killed Stacy Peterson, wife number 4 Stacy body was never found.
Sources say Peterson said the prisoner, who was an accomplice to help him dispose of the body. The prisoner told the authorities about his conversation with Peterson, which has led to the alleged accomplice. We were told the confederate to inform representatives of the Will County sheriff and prosecutors that the body was buried in the outskirts of Peoria, Illinois.
County Sheriff's Deputies and prosecutors have taken the alleged accomplices in Peoria Friday and accomplice led them to private hunting grounds. The owner has allowed authorities to enter his property and an accomplice then took them to where Stacy's body was buried. The accomplice told authorities the body was enclosed in a metal drum that had been buried in the ground.
Friday afternoon, the authorities brought police dogs on the ground, and we immediately said the dogs were taken to the place where the witness said the body was buried. The authorities then put teeth into the ground and hit a large number of sub-soil that can reel in question.
We are told that the state police are now keeping the property and the authorities start digging tomorrow morning.
